Fleurieu Made exists to create awareness and understanding of the problems of fast fashion and textile waste by building capability in artisanal skills,
sustainable material supply and local manufacturing

Professor Angelina Russo is a skilled artisan whose knitwear practice has been twice recognised nationally. Angelina's Italian has inherited an unbroken line of Italian artisanship from her great grandmother (a hemp weaver) through to her mother (a tailor). Angelina's commitment to circular economies can be evidenced by her advocacy in the local fashion and textiles sector. Angelina teaches, writes, makes and builds capability through skills development.
